The Men's Vest, Weskit or Waistcoat for colonial or Early American impression can be worn under a coat or woodsman's coat, or alone. We like to call this our 'Virginia Planter Vest', because it has that early cotton plantation look! Has that true 'Paul Revere' style to it: high front, plain back, 9 buttons down the front (buttons will be shell or brass-look, not the buttons shown), front pocket flaps (no actual pocket). Made in 100% cotton Dream Cotton solids, or open-weave Osnaburg fabric (shown). Both are fully lined with unbleached muslin for Osnaburg, matching lining for solids. Looks perfect with our colonial shirt!
Size is by chest measurement; measure your chest to determine size. The size you choose corresponds with your actual chest measurement, and is not the finished measurement of the vest. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size.
Length ranges with size from 26 1/2" to 28 1/4".
Remember, this is traditionally a loose-fitting garment!
