Colonial Williamsburg and the American Revolution have inspired this pretty and functional dress, so we had to name it after General Washington's lively young granddaughter! Graceful and feminine, you will be comfortable all day in this gown for plays, events and trips to Williamsburg, as well as a wedding or other formal event!

This dress is made with a full gathered skirt, fully lined bodice, and buttons down the back. Sleeves are elbow length with muslin ruffles, and a matching 1" ruffle is at the jewel neckline. Ruffles on sleeve and neckline can be made in unbleached or bleached muslin.

See our Extra Options for extra details! Add an apron and/or a ruffly mob cap or fichu (triangular piece also called a 'Modesty Piece) for that authentic colonial feel! All options will match the fabric of the sleeve and neck ruffles. You can also choose to omit the neck ruffle, or add a ruffle on the hem of the dress.

This dress is a full, loose-fitting garment.
