This gown is inspired by the lovely graceful gowns of the 1840's-1860's with 3/4 length bell sleeves (long or short sleeves by request) finished with lace and a simple round neckline trimmed with lace. A detatched sash or attached tie backs can be tied around the waist if desired, making it flexible for a variety of sizes. Try tying the detached sash in a bow in the back, front, or on the side and make three different looks with the same dress!

This is not a fitted dress, which makes it comfortable to wear all day and easy to fit many sizes. Unlike our Two-Tier Civil War dress, this gown buttons down the front to the hem. Fits over a petticoat slip, crinoline, or a #2 hoop. Skirt circumference will be approximately 110" at the hem, depending on length.
