This gown is inspired by the lovely graceful gowns of the 1840's-1860's with your choice of sleeves and a simple round neckline trimmed with lace. A detached sash or attached tie backs can be added to your dress if desired, making it flexible for a variety of sizes. Try tying the detached sash in a bow in the back, front, or on the side and make three different looks with the same dress! This is not a fitted dress, which makes it comfortable to wear all day and easy to fit many sizes. The gown buttons down the front just to the waist, or all the way to the hem. Fits over a petticoat slip, crinoline, or a #2 hoop.

You can order the dress alone, or with the black cotton sateen sash or tiebacks; you can also have them made to match the solid of the dress, or you can also request a custom fabric from our site. Choose your favorite fabric!

Then choose from a variety of sleeve styles.

Finally, decide whether you would like lace on neckline or sleeves.
We can make a fabric collar instead of the lace trim as well.

~Waist measurement
~Length down the back from the top of shoulder nearest the neck to waist
~Length you want the dress down the back from the top of shoulder nearest the neck to the length desired (If you are short and need it less than 46", please contact us)
~Length of arm from top of arm at normal shoulder/arm seam down to desired length of sleeve (short, 3/4 or long)
~Circumference of arm at the place where the sleeve will end.
