The adventure continues and I loved every moment! This book focuses in on the Dare family from book 1. Now settled in Ohio, they are carving out a home in this rugged land. Polly is a woman with determination and fortitude to make the best of the hardships she faces and Amos, whose strength of character and care of those around him, make these two one of my top favorite couples. I loved learning about the day to day activities on a homestead. The pioneers whose courage enabled them to make a way into the Western frontier can still provide lessons to us today. Highly Recommend!
